Oregon is a lovely place to live! We won’t see anything poking up through the soil in Nebraska for a few more months!

Les, growing up in the intermountain west, these early shoots and winter-flowering plants always surprise and amaze me. It has been a mild winter here, but this happens here even with the occasional snow and freezing temps! I love it!

We have plenty of sun, but nary a shoot. Maybe April. :<) I don't mind though. I'm such a winter girl.
