I loved Dandelion Wine, by Ray Bradbury, when I read it a few years ago. Now I’m getting back to his Green Town series and just started Something Wicked This Way Comes. It’s the perfect time to read it, and I love the first line of the book!
“First of all, it was October, a rare month for boys.”
OH MY….read all the Bradbury so many years ago. Wonder if I re-read them would they still capture me?

I’d be curious to hear if they capture you again. I have reread many books that I loved when I first read them, but sometimes I just want to let that glowing warmth stay as it was that very first time. Dandelion Wine definitely captured my heart a few years ago…I’m really looking forward to reading this one and the next in the series! I don’t know why I waited so long.

I’ve not read this one, but have certainly heard the phrase in the title. Enjoy!

Kay, the phrase is from Macbeth. When I was teaching 6th Grade, our students performed a shortened version of Macbeth. This was one of the favorite lines from a scene with the three witches (the much sought after roles, year after year,).

I just read, and loved, Dandelion Wine over the summer. Is this a follow on?

Cathy, yes it is! I didn’t realize that it is a trilogy until just recently. I read Dandelion Wine a couple of years ago and loved it.
