Thirteen Years

Thirteen years ago, I started this blog. It was a wonderful reading world to enter and I was welcomed warmly by so many of you. The friends I’ve made through this blog are cherished.

Book blogs have changed a lot in thirteen years, but the love of reading and sharing with fellow readers hasn’t changed. You have all expanded my world exponentially!

I am grateful for all of you, my blogging/reading friends.

Thank you, Marlo! I seem to be reading more than ever these days (such a pleasure), and I still love writing and sharing books, so the blog will continue into these teenage years.😜

13 years is quite an accomplishment, isn’t it?! I’m coming up on my 14th and a few years ago I would have been stunned by that number, but now I can see continuing for another decade. At least! I so enjoy following you on your blog and am grateful for all the years you’ve devoted to sharing your reading life with us. Congratulations, Robin!

It seems a few of us started 13 years ago, Sam at Book Chase is another and myself also (June). You were among the first bloggers I got to know and it’s lovely that you’re still here as quite a few have fallen by the wayside. Congratulations, Robin!

Thank you, Cath! It was a good time for blogging “back then.” And it’s so nice to have many of them continue to inspire me with ideas and the books they read! You are my inspiration right now for my focus on reading a book from each of the 50 states! Here’s to many more years of these wonderful reading friendships!

Not sure what’s happened but I commented on two of your posts last night (the other was the 50 state one) but only one is showing, this one here. You might want to check to see if it’s been put into your spambox by mistake, it does happen to me quite often. If not let me know and I’ll try commenting again.

Cath, I just checked and didn’t find any of your comments in my spam box. I’ll check out my settings! I don’t want to miss any of your comments!

But at least my second comment here has appeared. Thanks for looking into it. I’ll go back and comment on the 50 States post again, possibly it just didn’t go through. *Fingers crossed*

And I turned 13 last November. A lot of us showed up at the same time, and it is heart-warming to me that some of us are still in touch. You’ve been a wonderful blogging friend, Robin!

Wow! 13 years! I do recall discovering your blog way back, Robin. So happy that you are still sharing reading with us and also delighted that we got to meet in person. Hope we can do that again! Congratulations and now I’m off to continue listening to my current audiobook – In Farleigh Field.
