I think Charlotte’s Web is a perfect example of this! I read it to my class every year and I always found inspiration and new understandings. My 93-year-old mother recently read it for the first time and loved it!
I love that quote! Think I read it before somewhere, but it is certainly true. It’s why I still keep my books from 50+ years ago on my shelf. I’ve reread some of them, but I’ll admit that some are a little too fragile for reading in print. Happily, most are available for my Kindle or for listening.

Kay, I’m the same. I have many of those treasures on my shelf, but I reread a lot of them on my Kindle. But isn’t it nice to still have them!

I really love this! I sure wish I knew what I read when I was ten.

Nan, I’m pretty sure I was ten when I read Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. I followed my brother along his reading path for a long time (still do!).
