I know that sometimes I pick up a book at just right time for me and it’s wonderful. At another time, it might or might no resonate as much. I think that those particular books are often ones that I recall with the most fondness, even if they are in genres that I don’t normally read as much.

I agree! Sometimes a book I loved at the time, Shell Seekers for one, doesn’t seem as great when read later.

True, too, Andrea! That’s why I’m hesitant to reread certain books that I loved the first time. It’s a gamble!
