It’s time for Classics Club Spin #26!” Here’s how it works for members of The Classics Club.
At your blog, before Sunday 18th April, 2021, create a post that lists twenty books of your choice that remain “to be read” on your Classics Club list. (Click here to see my list of 50 books to read in 5 years.)
This is your Spin List.
You have to read one of these twenty books by the end of the spin period.
On Sunday 18th, April, we’ll post a number from 1 through 20. The challenge is to read whatever book falls under that number on your Spin List by the 31st May, 2021.
Please check back here soon to see which of these books I will be reading for this new Classics Club Spin!

It’s not difficult to guess which book you’d like to read the most! 😛
Well… good luck! It’s a nice list, by the way.
Barchester Tower is on my list too

I guess I’m pretty obvious about it.😉 I only have six more books to read to reach my 50 books in 5 years so I thought I’d load up my list with the book I’d like to read for this Spin. I’ll be happy to read any of them, though.

A Raisin in the Sun is a very powerful play. You should read it even if it doesn’t get picked.

Thank you, Davida, A Raisin in the Sun is definitely on my TBR list, whether or not is is chosen for this Spin. I’ll take your advice and read it soon!

She also wrote a play called “What Use are Flower” which no one knows, except people like me, who performed it in High School!

I loved Barchester Towers and A Room of One’s Own. I read Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry years ago and can’t remember much about it now, but I know I liked it. Good luck!

Helen, I had Roll of Thunder in my class library when I was teaching 6th Grade, and many of my students read it. Somehow, I didn’t read it back then so it’s about time I read it!

Ruth is my favourite Gaskell so I hope you get that one. Although Barchester Towers was wonderful too. All the best with the spin and I hope you get the book you want!
