Oooh, yours is the first Best of 2021 I’ve seen by my blogmates! I nominated Crying in H-Mart to my book group and it looks like it’s coming in with a high number of votes. We read Hamnet this year, but I didn’t read it since I was going to miss the meeting. I think it will be my first book of 2022, though.

We’ve had a beautiful, sunny morning, but the gray and rain are returning now. Jamie left for home this morning, too. It was so nice to have her here for our early Christmas, and always hard to say goodbye, even for a few weeks. But we’re all set for our next Christmas celebration with our grandson this weekend!

I loved Crying in H Mart and Hamnet, and I’ve always loved A Little Princess. I don’t have a top ten list yet, although Shuggie Bain, Real Life, Caste, and Klara and the Sun will be in there.
