Today, my Dad would have turned 101 years old! He’s been gone for 27 years now, but I cherish my very special memories of him. They keep him close to me every day. The last time we drove past our old family home (pre-pandemic), his rose garden was flourishing! It warmed my heart to see his beloved roses in bloom, still gracing the old neighborhood with their beauty.
Wow! Its awesome. The roses are looking pretty. ☺😊

Thanks, Ti. I agree that it is a lovely way to remember him. We also honored his
love of roses by putting a memorial bench (now with a plaque on it for both my parents) in the rose garden at Red Butte Gardens in Salt Lake City.❤️

I wonder if I knew that he and my mom share the same birthday. That’s quite a lovely rose garden and a very sweet memory to cherish.
