Today’s topic for The Estella Society’s bookish photo-a-day challenge is “Growing.” For me, it should read “Growing.” Hubby and I have been seriously downsizing our library, which is something I never thought we would do. But as we move closer to retirement, and closer to the big move to our new home in another state, we simply can’t move that many books. So, we’ve given our kids first choice, donated many to the library, and sold some…

But lest you worry that we will be starting our retirement years [which translates into “time for reading!!”] without books…The treasures, of course, we have kept.
