I love the artwork of Mary Engelbreit, and this is one of my favorites of her work. It’s perfect for today because I am giving myself a present this week and rereading The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows. It’s a book I loved years ago when I first read it, and when I saw that the movie of it is available on Netflix, I decided it was time to reread it. I am loving it even more this time around!
A Fondness For Reading 
I want to reread it too. It’s been a long time. I agree with the sentiment – I’m a faithful rereader.

Kay, I’m just loving it! We’ve had a couple of busy days or I would be done with it again already. I’m glad I had to slow down, though. I can extend that time of enjoyment!

This is almost exactly what I wrote in my reading journal just a few days ago! I was so happy that not only was it as good as the first time I read it, but even better! It’s one I’ll read again and again.
I, too, love the artwork of ME. Her images and the colors she chooses always make me smile.

ME’s work is so recognizable isn’t it? Love how cheerful it is. I forgot about the film version of this book. Didn’t even realize it was already out on Netflix so I’ll definitely have to add it to my list. Hope you’re enjoying the book again!
